My Yearning- Most Important things to do in my life

Every individual have some desire to do in their life. Below are the lists of all my desire which are very important to me and it really mean a lot to me.

1) The first and most important thing in my life is to bring and give lot of happiness to my both parents and in-laws. They brought us in this beautiful world and did lot of struggles and hard work to feed us, to teach us, to bring smile in our faces, to fulfilled all our needs and wants, made proficient so that we can stand and face the things under all circumstances. Now, God has given me chance to do something for them whatever they wish for. I know, whatever they did for us is nothing in front of what we did or going to do for them.

2) Secondly, I want to give lot of happiness to my loving and caring husband. I want to stand nearby him whenever he needs me; I want to support and motivate him in good or bad times and want to fulfill all his desires.

3) I also want to give lot of happiness to my loving family, and always want to help them, support them, and care them whenever they need me.

4) One day, I want to see myself as a successful woman both professionally and personally, and want to develop all the skill for the betterment for myself and for others, in order to contribute my work in more efficient and effective manners. I also want to see myself as an omniscient person, so that I can contribute my opinion, my knowledge to everyone.

5) I always believe that, we can enjoy our moment, our happiness by spending our own hard working money rather than getting from someone else. So, my desire is to always earn money through my hard work and talent.

6) My big yearning is to do something for needy people especially for kids, because they are the future of the world. I also want to help kids with the cleft lips by providing free surgery to them, so that I can bring smile on their faces and no one can ever hurt their feelings. For orphan kids, I have a desire to have a big house with huge playground for them where they can stay, learn, play, enjoy, make friends, and feel like they also have a family.

These are the things which I want to do in my life, and for that I really need blessing and support from God. God, please give me the strength, so that I can fulfill all my yearning, and I will always try to do my best in everything whatever I am going to do and you do the rest.

Great People in my Life

Recently, I was reading a book of Ben Carson “Think Big”; it’s one of the best books which I read it. There is one chapter in this book where Ben Carson has given appreciation to those people who have directly or indirectly impacted in his life or who has provided him helping hand during his walk of life, which he named as gifted hand. After reading this chapter, I got so inspired and made me to think that even I should also thanks the people who have provide me a great support and motivation in my life and helped mentally and physically. In this blog, I am mainly going to thanks my family because of them I have my own identity and name and whatever I have achieved in my life it’s all because of my loving and caring family.

I want to start with my most loving and caring parents who brought so much happiness throughout in our lives. They have scarified their needs so that they can fulfill all their children needs and want and can bring happiness in their faces. They raised us so well and gave us a remarkable strength and stability in our lives. It is a tribute to both of them that we had the strength, the hope, and a deep will to live our life and it is all because of how they raised us. Because of their parenting only, we strongly believe in our family values and emotionally attached to each other and always want to do something for our family and other people and never ever want to hurt anyone. Papa and Mummy you are a great parents for your children.

My elder sister is the sweetest sister in whole universe; I have been truly blessed and honored to have sister like her. I thank her with my entire heart and soul for bringing me joy throughout our years together. I feel that need, that desire to have a sister, but only if she were her and wish God that I should always bless to have sister like her. She is the hub of our family, the person around which our family revolved, she always made sure to remember special occasions for everyone anniversaries, birthdays, phone calls, gifts and cards for all those dear to her and I personally want to thank her for every year she always surprised us differently during our occasions. She is very intelligent, caring, lovely and very beautiful lady and believe in giving to people and family and always ready to help people through good times and bad times. People close to her are really very lucky to received her affection, she is the one who can be completely dedicated to one she love and care about. She really took a great care of me from food to clothes, from education to job etc. Thank you so much whatever you did for me and if I have one wish it would be surely to do something for her and give her as much as she has given to me and always wish to God that whatever she dream her wish always get fulfill and get lot of happiness in her life. Whatever is the distance and how much ever may our lives be busy doesn't matter she is always be close to me because she is the greatest sister of mine. God could not take care for the whole world, so he has given parents. In the same way parents could not take care for the whole part of our life, so he had given sister. Thanks for being my sister and I am always there with her whenever she need me in her life.

My brother is the rare gem person and so perfect in every way. He may not know it, but his support and faith in me have pulled me through more times than I can count. He is a big pillar for family, who do everything to bring smile and happiness in the family. He is such a wonderful brother, who love and protect us and someone whom I can rely on anytime and every time. I really cherish the life we have lived together, thanks for the treasure of all the sweet memories that he had given me. I don’t want to thank him because that would not convey my gratitude for him but yes, he is very special for us and we pray to God that he fulfilled all his dreams and one day we want to see him on the top of the world. May he feel the power of God’s protection and blessing from heaven today and always and may God shower him with everlasting happiness.

My younger sister is really very nice girl with full of cheerful and sharing nature. Though we always use to fight a lot but now I am really missing her and also those fight and came to know how important she is there in my life. She is really an intelligent girl with lots of confidence. She’s very loving and caring in nature; always try to help the people whom she does not know also. You will always find her behind you whenever you need her. She will never say no to anyone. She is very generous, fun loving, center of attraction wherever she goes. She is my best and adorable sister and I am glad to have such a sweet sister in my life. I really pray to god that she enjoyed each and every phases of her life with lot of happiness and achieved all her goals and whenever she need me I am always there to help her, protect her.

My brother in law is a great person I have ever seen or met. His best quality is, he is always ready to help the people no matter who they are and what they did to him, he always provide his helping hand to the people and always say, if it is there in my hand or if I am capable of doing things or helping the people will surely go for it no matter how good or bad situation is. I always admired his sense of humor, his integrity and his presence of mind. For me, I would say he is angel for me to whom God has sent him to help and support me. He is the most important person in my life who is always ready to stand nearby me whenever I need him. Whatever I am right now, most of the credits go to him only who always take care and advice what changes or development I need, how I can improve myself further, what things I should follow to have better life both professionally and personally. I can only tell to him, thank you so much whatever you did for me and always there for me whenever I need you, God always sent people to help other and God has sent you to take care of me, support and motivate me, bring potential and strength upon me.

My Husband is a great and simple person by heart. I may not always tell him, but I hope he know how special he is to me. How much I appreciate the bonding between us and how many times I feel proud to have such a kind, generous, intelligent, smart person in my life as a partner. And today, I hope he know the entire good thing I wish for him and all the love that’s in my heart for one very special person. It means a lot to have a wonderful partner like him. Thanks for the treasure of all the sweet memories that he have given to me. Neither can I tell him nor he can imagine what he is for me. There is no such thing as a perfect person but there is such a thing as a person who is perfect for you and my husband is that person for me and I would not change one single thing about him because he is perfect for me.

There are many things which I want to say about my family but I can only say, thanks to my family for always encouraging, supporting, motivating me, always try to bring smile on my face, fulfilling all my needs and wants etc-etc. Thank you so much for everything, they are a great family which I can ever ask and wish God that he should always bless me with this loving and caring family only. Love them and May God Bless them all.

Fear is Temporary and Regret is Forever

I love to read books which are mostly related to personal development and motivation and I give lot of importance not only to the knowledge from books and personal life, but also putting those into practice. If I ever come across a new way of simplifying a thing or a tip that I can use, I will try to implement those as soon as possible or at my earliest convenience. All these knowledge and experience gives me an opportunity to keep on improving my skills and knowledge. This will also help me to shape up my personality and character.

During my childhood, I always used to read 'Competition Success Review' magazines, a personality development journal. This magazine contains many article of which one article was about ‘Improve your personality'. I used to read these articles with lot of interest and which were mainly focused on developing leadership skills and also how to overcome your personal weaknesses. One such article I read was how you can overcome with your own fear, the suggestion given was: To overcome with your fear is to do exactly the things which you fear the most. This suggestion has impacted me so much in my life, or I can say it got stuck in my mind, that I still follow it whenever I get fear of anything.

There was an episode, which took courage on my part to put this idea into practice and that incident was “Participating in debate”. During my earlier school days there was a teacher who involved all students in different groups, to participate in debate and discuss about pros and cons on a given topic. I knew that I can do well in debate if I am arguing with my friends or close ones, as we know that most of us are open with some people and can candidly speak in front of them. But, here I was facing a problem, as I have to discuss my opinions in front of all students. I was feared about how I could articulate my thoughts nicely, though I was very familiar and confident about the topic “Women power in Society”. I knew that I had plenty of views to discuss on this topic but I was scared what if other students doesn’t like my views or how strongly I can put my thoughts into words which started making me feels nervous and later feared. So suddenly this fear suggestion came in my mind which I read in an article and thought I should overcome my weakness of fear and participate in a debate. So students along with the teacher were talking on this topic weather women have a power in society or not and if yes how much and suddenly that topic converted into huge debate. Not being an enthusiast first I thought I should not involve in too much discussion as I was having little bit fear though I was having a good knowledge about that topic, but still I thought I should listen others points . But I wanted to take the opportunity to overcome my fear. And once I started giving my view, everyone started getting agreeing on my point which started giving me more confident and I was glad when I finished my part. Though I didn't win any prize in that discussion but I have my personal prize to cherish and also got appreciation from my teacher for well behaving and mentioning some good points during discussion. Therefore by doing this I went through my own emotions to overcome my weakness. To some extent it helped me to overcome my fear and improve my confidence that I can certainly take up difficult challenges. And after this incident there were many other opportunities came in my life where I had to discuss in front of all studentss or people and now I can easily discuss my point without any hesitation. There are many other incidents which took place in my life and I always followed this suggestion and now I am very well confident that I can face and resolve any fear or challenges in my life. In my opinion fear is one of the worst enemies that can play confusion with our mind and in that situation we all need to develop our strategy and strength to overcome this.

Finally to end this topic, I would quote, which I always believe, that “fear is always temporary and if you don’t take any step to overcome with your own fear sooner or later you will regret forever”. So take a step to overcome with your own fear no matter how big or small it is, once you have made in your mind and gain a strength that you can do it and no one can stop me from doing it, you should keep on trying it as there is no harm in trying even if there is lot of risks involved; face it, instead of thinking about alternatives. You should overcome your fear and as I say “Fear is Temporary, Regret is forever”.

 

Yosemite National Park

Last year in fall 2012 we went to Yosemite National Park for few days along with my friends and had a great experience and fun. Yosemite National Park is located in the heart of California Sierra Nevada and it is one of the oldest wilderness parks in the United States and established in 1890 as a National Park with an area of almost 1,200 square miles. Its beauty is evident during each of its seasons from the waterfalls of spring to the wildflowers of summer, the golden light of autumn and the crisp snows of winter. During summer, temperature is normally warm and dry while in late fall and winter have a fair amount of rain and snow. Yosemite which is designated as wilderness and you will find waterfalls, high cliffs, spectacular tracts of mountains and valley scenery, 100s of giant sequoias. Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Mariposa Grove of Big Trees are only a few of the features for which the park is well known and famous for that.

There are many activities to do in Yosemite Park which will satisfy everyone’s interests whether its park geologic, natural history, in backpacking, bicycling, camping or picnicking or simply meandering on a trail along the river’s edge.

 

Bridalveil Fall: I really had a great fun in Bridalveil Fall as we did rock climbing and went at the end to touch the water. This fall is memorable for its rainbows and billowing clouds of mist. There is “Yosemite Fall” which is the most popular and famous waterfall in Yosemite National Park and it believe that it is the tallest waterfall in North America with a height of 2,425 feet.

 

 

 

Half Dome: This granite landmark Half Dome rising to an elevation of 8,842 feet is the most striking feature and is a well known symbol of Yosemite National Park. Every year many hikers come here and only few hikers reach the summit each year; it really required lot of dedication, preparation and most important self motivation to reach the end line of half dome.  There are steel cables on the half dome which assist hikers climbing the last 400 feet to the top. You  should be well prepared once you decide you are going to hike on half dome like you should wear comfortable shoes and clothes, drink and carry lots of water and foods.

 

Mariposa Grove: In Yosemite National Park there is a biggest attraction called Mariposa Grove which have the largest stand of Sequoia tress and have more than 500 trees and all trees are more than 1,000 years old and some are 3,000 years old. The Bachelor, Three Graces, Grizzly Giant are few giant Sequoia trees found in Mariposa grove and weigh over 2 million pounds.

Grizzly Giant: One of the main attractions of the Mariposa Grove is the Grizzly Giant, one of the largest trees in Mariposa Grove and it is estimated at 2,700 years of age.

California Tunnel Tree: California Tunnel tree is another big attraction in Mariposa Grove. This giant sequoia tree was cut in 1985 to allow stagecoaches to pass through the center of the tree. There is another giant tree called Clothespin Tree which was scarred by numerous fire and naturally formed tunnel which is wide enough for a car to pass through.

There are lots of other attractions to see and do the things in Yosemite National Park and for that you really need to have enough days off to enjoy each and every place in Yosemite. We really had a great and fun time in Yosemite and looking forward to see again such a natural and beautiful place in near future.

Nick Vujicic - A Great Motivator

On 30th of July 2010, we went to see Nick Vujicic show. Yes, after a long month waiting, I finally saw him and I am fortunate enough that I finally saw him personally. People who don’t know about Nick Vujicic, he is a great motivator and use to travel across the country to motivate the people of all the age level. He is not only an excellent motivator but also he is a great person with dashing personality. There are many motivators in this world but what uncommon between Nick Vujici and other motivators is that Nick Vujici doesn’t have arms and legs. Yes, he was born without arms and legs, interesting and sorry about him right but don’t be because he has done a lot of things in his life what other people have not done or feel scared to do even having their arms and legs. I saw number of his video before meeting to him and I get so inspire whenever I use to see his video and then I said earlier after a long month and year waiting I finally met him. And after meeting him, I got so emotional and inspired by his wording and thought and realized when he can do it why not I can and now I have more faith in GOD no matter what the situation is because GOD will always do something good for all of us and will always support us when we will keep on trying and have faith on him. We always use to say keep trying and have faith in God but sometime we get disappointed and always say why it’s happen or happening with me and then we start losing trust or losing faith on GOD which is true with everyone and it is true with me also. But by doing this entire unwanted thing nothing will come positive only thing we will continuously hurt our self and our body. So as per his word, we should keep trying, keep trying and so on and always have a big faith on God because its matter how you finish your race, are you going to finish it stronger or you will just give-up. So it’s very important to finish your work whatever you have in your hand even if you fall number of times but keep on trying because one day you will succeed and God will always help you to finish your task if we keep on trying. So never get discourage or disappointed and whatever the words starting with “DIS” always take in a positive way because even “DIS” mean “The (D) Inspiring (I) Stage (S)”, so never lose your heart and keep on trying –trying and have a faith in GOD. And also there is nothing impossible in this world even impossible has “I M Possible” word. People who are lazy will always find impossible word from possible task and people who are strong will always find possible things in impossible task also. So it just a matter of how you are seeing those things. But now, I think that whatever comes in your life we should always try it so that later we don’t have any regret of not doing that thing, so keep on trying whether you fail or pass. Really Nick Vujicic is not only a great motivator but also a good human being who always motivate and help the needy people and make people to believe in God and never lose our heart because life itself is very challenging and interesting, so its depend upon people how they want to play with their life whether they want challenging life who give lot of learning experience or monotonous life, so it’s just a way of seeing our life and never ever lose hope because hope is the bread for beggar.

Cherry Blosson

This time I am writing a blog on “Cherry Blossom”. On April 3rd 2010, I went to see Cheery Blossom in Washington DC, USA along with my family and friends. Though this was my second visit after coming to USA but this time I really enjoyed a lot. It was a great fun to visit and see the cheery blossom, which is one of the best festival celebrations in USA during spring time. Cherry Blossom is usually from cheery tree which was originated in USA during the year 1912 which was given by the Japanese people as a gift of friendship. Cherry Blossom is a big festival in Japan. So from 1912 to till date, cherry blossom is celebrated in USA with lots of great enthusiasms and enjoyment. Many people from all over the world come during Cherry Blossom in DC area to see and welcome the arrival of spring and to share the special season with each other. Blossom festival usually start from end of March and come to an end on mid April, so usually it’s for 3 week and 2nd week is the peak period of blossom.

Though it was a great fun but it was very rush as many people came over there to see the blossom as it was peak period time and also it was weekend, so no one want to miss this great festival of USA were all natural beauties are lying. So it was very hard to get parking and we have to wait for at least 1 hr to get parking slot empty. So if anyone who is going to watch Cherry Blossom in DC, it’s better to take a metro train instead of driving a car. But overall, the experience was very good to watch the natural beauty of earth. There were many other activities which were taking place during Cherry Blossom festival like orchestra, game shows, marriages etc. So it was a great enjoyment to see all these activities which were going on everywhere.

Importance of Human Resource Management

Today I am writing a blog on Importance of Human Resource Management. Although many people know what HR people do and what are their importance and how they work, how they act as a mediator between employee and employer etc. But the reason for writing this blog is that there are many people who still think that, what the role of HR and why they unnecessary exist in the organization. So in order to tell those people who still think that HR department is useless and never do anything for them, so for them I am writing this blog to let them know what actually HR people do and just like any other department, HR department also help the company to achieved its goal.

HR responsibility is very crucial and important for recruiting talent people, developing careers, keeping people motivated and building leaders, handling employee conflicts etc. HR people occupy a prime position in any organization, with effective processes for keeping talent, with open and honest relations with employees, trying to motivate them whenever they need. Every organizations have certain goals like to earn a lot of profits, want to have better product and services, innovative technology, better customer services and satisfaction when compare to their competitors, therefore HR people or department help the company to achieved its goal by recruiting the talented people who can perform all these tasks and can achieved organization goals. So HR department play an important part in any organization.

But many people think that and always make argument and always have discussion that HR as the force that forgot about people and does not take care of their employees, never give feedback on time in order to improve our self and even some people don’t know whether HR exist in the organization or not etc. So with all these attacks on HR's reputation, if your HR team is an impediment and never cares for you then upgrade them and when you decide that you are serious about the results you want, you do that i.e. go and ask them about your performance, your problems etc because until and unless you are not going to let them know, how they will come to know. In the meantime, a weak HR group is a great excuse for things that don't go the way you want.

HR people should also think that their role must be parallel the needs of the changing organization. Successful organizations are becoming more adaptable, resilient, quick to change directions, and customer-centered. Within this environment, the HR professional must learn how to manage effectively through planning, organizing, leading and controlling the human resource and be knowledgeable of emerging trends in training and employee development. So just involve every employee and follow as a individual approach rather than collective approach and let employee know that you really care for them and how important as a HR we are to them.
